Sewing Compendium
In Victorian times,
women would gather to sewing in a social setting. This
activity created the need for a small, portable sewing kit. Our
Sewing Compendium is a re-creation of this kit. It has has a
pewter bobbin that holds two different threads and two needles. A
cute little mouse sits on the top. A small pewter thimble rests on
the cobalt blue glass bottle. All parts are held in place by a
pewter collar in a "Forest of Flowers" design. 2-/3/8" tall, 3/4"
wide. Imported from England. |
